Book club day! We read (and loved) WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING by Delia Owens. Excellent mystery and gorgeous writing. Highly recommend.

Woo, #riotgrams time! Today's challenge is library books. I have a shelf reserved just for books I've borrowed, that way I keep track of what isn't actually mine.

"Why is a raven like a writing-desk?" Today's #riotgrams challenge is classics I love. Can't go wrong with Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

Picking a single favorite #female character is no easy task, so here are a few. Matilda, Sophie Hatter, Batgirl, Chiana, and Leia Organa. All of them have had a major impact on me as a person and as a reader, and inspire me to be my best self. #riotgrams

I don't really read much self-help or books specifically on mental health, but I have read many books that have been good for my own headspace. Most of them are on audio, so I chose instead to pluck two books from my #TBR to share for today's #riotgrams challenge.

The #riotgrams challenge today is a freebie, so here's a view of my classroom library. I have a checkout card system for my books and some little fuzzy friends for my students to sit and read with. There are also a few posters there showing how to pick a book among other things. Despite being 5th graders, they like the dolls and my classroom library is always evolving. I've been collecting lots of MG for them and eventually I want to put a rug and cushions and stuff there. #teachersofinstagram #iteachfifth
