Today's pork and tofu dish at lunch time was so tasty that I asked the school's nutritionist for the recipe so I can make it at home. I need to replicate this~
The main dish had, besides pork and tofu, bits of carrot, shirataki noodles, shiitake mushrooms, fu (wheat gluten that's been rolled into some shape then grilled - more on this at Just Hungry), napa cabbage, ginger, and onion. On the side, we had some salad (cabbage, spinach, carrot, and grilled nori seaweed paper) and rice.
Right now, we're getting hit pretty hard with flu. Many students are out, though at this time, not enough in any one homeroom to quarantine entire classes. We have a teacher out with the flu as well. Here's hoping we can stay strong!
