Elementary School Lunch: 02/16 - Creamy Penne

Food, JapanKristina PinoComment

Today I had lunch with second graders, who actually made me a custom place mat to eat my meal over. It's the cutest thing ever, so I wanted to share a picture. Most of these are Yo-kai Watch inspired, but some are mascots, too. It's always the best to get personalized things from children.

Today's lunch was a creamy penne and potato dish, which was served with a dark bread and tuna salad. Mushrooms, onion, cheese, bacon, and parsley were all that accompanied the potato and pasta (well, and skim milk) - but it was enough. So delicious. As for the salad, it was pretty plain: cabbage, spinach, and chunks of tuna with a veggie dressing.

A perfect Monday lunch, if I do say so myself.
