Today's lunch was another simple, but effective one. We enjoyed some tasty mackerel (grilled with salt), served with plain salad, rice, and tonjiru or pork soup.
The salad was just some cabbage, spinach, and carrot boiled and seasoned in the kitchen and then topped with sesame seeds. As for the soup, it had some miso, carrot, onion, bits of pork, konjac, potato, tofu, and radish. As always, the tonjiru was packed with flavor and it's still one of my all-time favorite soups.
Another tasty, but filling meal down the hatch. I'll see you again tomorrow.
