The parade of autumn foods continues with a sweet potato stew we had for lunch today, and it was accompanied by a cucumber salad, some mushrooms, raisin bread, and a little bonus from the nutritionist/cooking teacher: hand-made sweet potato sweets leftover from a lesson with third graders.
The stew had some good stuff in it: sausage, onion, carrot, parsley, and of course, the sweet potato. The salad had some kind of herbal veggie dressing and was cucumber mixed with both cabbage and lettuce. Great start to the week.
