Now that it's getting warmer and more humid, some of the students and teachers are feeling the lethargy that sometimes comes with those two things. I guess that's why we had stamina-don as our main dish today, though really I'd like to think it's just because the stuff is delicious.
Our lunch had bits of pork meat, peppers (red), onion (regular and green/spring onion), miso, bamboo, mushroom, and some Chinese-style sauce to pull it all together. On the side, we had some soup with seaweed, carrot, onion, tofu, and loads of sesame seeds in it, and for dessert, some fresh melon.
Very refreshing and satisfying!
