Today's lunch was pretty rad. Our main dish was katsuo (bonito, or a kind of tuna) with potatoes, salad, soup, and rice.
The fish was cooked with the potatoes and both slathered with sesame seeds, which gave them a good taste. The salad, by comparison, had no taste - haha. It was plain boiled cabbage with carrots, bean sprouts, and spinach, seasoned in the kitchen. The soup was bamboo-wakame soup, which also had miso in it. Other ingredients in the soup were tofu, mushroom, and onion.
