Elementary School Lunch: 02/17 - shrimp balls

Food, JapanKristina PinoComment

Yesterday was an agepan day! Always a good lunch day when we get to enjoy some age-pan (fried bread), and today's topping was kinako, or soy flour (and a little sugar to sweeten it all up).

The agepan accompanied a "corn salad" (cabbage, corn, spinach, and carrots in corn dressing), a soup featuring shrimp balls, and a dessert of blueberry yogurt. The soup also had bamboo, onion, chives, tofu, and star-shaped macaroni. Everything was awesome, and filling despite appearances.
