Ok, so yesterday I said that today would be curry day, but I misread the menu. It's tomorrow! Today we enjoyed some fish, seaweed salad, soup, and rice.
The fish was mackerel and it was totally slathered in miso. The hijiki seaweed salad is nothing new either, and it was tasty as usual, tossed with some carrots, konjac, and bonito chunks. The soup had chunks of satoimo (taro), onion, carrot, radish, tofu, and lotus root. The broth wasn't too flavorful in general, but the boiled veggies were tasty.
Alright, for real now. Curry day tomorrow!
