We had a new thing today! Our mackerel was smothered, absolutely smothered, in miso, served with some salad, a soup, and rice.
The fish was pretty tasty, and the salad was nothing special - one of our usual green salads and seasoned in-house. The soup had bits of chicken and veggies as well as mochi balls and dango. It was another light meal (though tomorrow's will be the lightest of the month, in terms of calories), and the soup actually went rather well with the fish, which still had a strong taste despite the miso.
Just two more trays and we're into the next month already. Dang, time flies.
