Today's lunch was da bomb.
Hashudo beef and a simple but tasty salad on the side. We didn't need more than that, because as usual, our main dish was loaded with veggies. The salad had coleslaw dressing in it today. I totally had seconds of the hashudo beef so that I could eat all of the rice in the bentou today - a rare occurrence.
Hashudo beef isn't new to my blog, here - this is actually our third time having it this year. It looks a lot like curry, but it's different in that it's more like a stew and is tomato-based, rather than straight up curry roux.
