Elementary School Lunch: 10/09 - typhoon winds

Food, JapanKristina PinoComment

Today it's been super windy because of the typhoon that passed us by! We were expecting some rainy weather, but it didn't enter Japan as predicted, so instead we've got gusts. Obviously, nobody's really complaining.

Today's lunch featured an omelet roll as the main dish, accompanied by salad, a miso soup, and our usual rice. It looks rather plain, but the salad had some intense home-made sesame dressing loaded with flavor, and I like Japanese-style omelets. The soup was one of our usuals, with potato, carrot, tofu, onion, pork, and other goodies in it. A solid mid-week meal.
