Today's lunch had a bit of a different flavor from usual. We had fried fish as the main dish, accompanied by salad, rice, and a bowl of boiled vegetables.
The fish was a kind of mackerel, which I like (but I passed on it because I didn't want to eat fried food today). The salad was one of our usual greens, seasoned in-house and with sesame seeds on top. The bowl was a little different, though. At least, it tasted different to me. It had some seasoning, for once, and it heavily featured radish. Usually, we get radish in small, thin slices. Today they were in huge chunks that I usually see our potatoes in. It was pretty good.
Besides radish, the bowl had pork, edamame, carrots, and onions.
