[ It's a little late, but here's this weekend's link dump! I made it a bit longer to make it up to you.]

On books and comics:

In case you're looking forward to Neil Gaiman's plans for The Sandmanthere's some news.

New covers for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and The Prisoner of Azkaban.

25 Things You Should Know About Young Adult Fiction. Awesome read. I'll have to take some of these to heart.

My favorite astronaut, Commander Chris Hadfieldhas penned a book deal with Little, Brown. He's reading the audiobook himself, as an added bonus. The book is called An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth.

Humble eBook Bundle II! At the time of writing, there are 10 days left to pay what you want for awesome books. Yay!

There's a spoiler-fied, but in-depth look at Hawkguy #11 here. It goes in to more detail than my own review, probably because I'm not as knowledgeable in comics as this person is. I agree with everything said, though, and I especially agree on the dissertation that Marvel Now! is hands-down way better than the New 52, despite the fact that I enjoy books from both.

In case you need even more convincing, here's an article on Comics Alliance. "... and then came last week's Hawkeye #11 - which could be the single best issue of comics you've ever read."

On photography and stuff:

(via PhotoJojo) Ever wanted an easy button for making a "reaction face" GIFHere it is.

I love Annie Leibovitz, have I ever told you that? Here's an article in which she discusses "getting the shot" and her thoughts on where photography is headed.

On TV:

The Nerdist on the new Mickey Mouse toons. I briefly mentioned them in my review of Where's My Mickey? and I'm sad that none of the official videos are view-able by me in Japan.

(via Neatorama) Awesome Daenerys fanart.

(via Colette Bennett) I Was a Manic Pixie Dream Girl by Laurie Penny. It's a bit of a long read, but a great one about being a woman.

Guy uses wife's gamer account to surprise her with some stuff, and you'd be surprised (not) by his shock at how he was harassed when people assumed he was a woman. He's totally on our side now.

(via The Mary Sue) Hobbit Door ice cream sandwiches! These look great. Here's the recipe.

(via Eric Smith) super touching Legend of Zelda comic. "I hope one day you'll forgive me."
