Lunch today featured fish with green beans on the side, a miso soup, and rice. No dessert today, but there was some pork mixed in with the green beans and cognac veggie side. The fish itself isn't anything new to this blog (it was trout), and it tasted fine today as per usual. The soup had potato, carrots, onions, and tofu in there.
Despite being plain, I liked the change with our greens today, and despite looking light, I was stuffed before I even made it halfway through my rice tray while having consumed the soup and main plate. Maybe it's just because the soup itself had so much boiled potato in it. Either way - filling and gratifying.
