Today was the last school lunch day of the month! And we rounded it off with something pretty good. Nothing amaze-balls, just good. The main dish featured some fried fish and salad, with miso soup and rice on the side.
The fish itself was in chunks and seasoned in soy sauce and sesame seeds. It was white fish and tasted rather good with the seasoning. The green salad was in house dressing and featured some seaweed today to go with the fish. The miso soup didn't have seaweed in it, though - we finally went back to our of our usual miso and veggie soups with tofu and bread added. It's been a while, actually!
I've already looked at our new menus for July and that's looking rather good, too. On Monday, we're kicking things off in style, though going by the description I don't know whether to be excited or horrified.
