Today's school lunch was all new stuff with the main dishes, plus one of our usual salads and rice.
The main plate had some fish in it. Literally translated, it was red fish. My guess is it was red snapper, but I'm not entirely sure. It didn't have a strong taste and went well with the salad, though, which was crunchy again today. The soup had egg and crab in it, which was another big change. It looks really gross, but actually it was pretty good. Besides those two main things, it had some miso, carrots, onions, mushrooms, seaweed, and tofu inside.
Things were pretty much on the light side today, all things considered, but it was still rather filling. Without even trying, I left almost half of my rice (though I usually try not to eat it all anyhow). This tray is also missing the usual milk that I don't drink.
