Today's school lunch was kind of lackluster for me, partially because I wasn't actually too hungry by the time that cart rolled in. So, I just ate like, maybe half of this.
The main plate had an anchovy (or is that a sardine?) on it, seasoned and cooked in garlic sauce. The salad was tasty today, featuring some mixed veggies dressed in sesame. Finally, something a bit different from the usual mixed greens and Japanese dressing!
The side bowl is, you guessed it, another iteration of miso soup. This time around though, it heavily featured bamboo (besides the seaweed and tofu), which I love. No dessert or extra goodies today, besides some rice.
