Today we had the first fully vegetarian lunch at my elementary school! The tray featured a heaping salad plate and a steaming veggie bowl, along with the red rice box and the milk I didn't drink (this was someone else's lunch I photographed).
The salad was the usual mixed lettuce, carrot, and cucumber, and just had some regular Japanese dressing. The bowl had (mostly) potato, tofu, carrot, and shiitake - all cooked. Some of my female co-workers were asking the nutritionist about it as we ate, and she told them about how easy it is to make. She only seasoned it with a small amount of salt, too. Everything was delicious~
