Woo, curry day!
Though the teachers tend to just discover what's on the lunch menu each day as it rolls into the classroom, yesterday they were chattering about curry day. As usual, my co-workers were impressed as they watched me put it all away until I eventually told them that curry is actually my favorite Japanese dish. I generally enjoy all kinds of curry, but in terms of Japanese food, this is pretty much at the top.
The side today was a mixed cabbage and corn salad, and our "dessert" was a pair of strawberries, clocking in at 699 calories including the milk I didn't drink. The style was pork, and it had some veggies in it, like beans, carrots, and potatoes.
